Definition
A rebate (cashback) is money returned to you for each trade you place with a supported broker. It usually comes from a share of the commission the broker pays to a referrer.
Benefits
- Lower effective trading costs
- No change to strategy, platforms, or execution
- Compounds edge for high-volume traders
How payouts are calculated
Most programs pay per standard lot or as a % of commission. Example: if a broker charges $7 per round-turn lot and the rebate is 50%, you receive $3.50 per lot.
Rebates reduce costs—they don’t guarantee profits. Trade responsibly.
